After my first attempt at a different test location in the South of London was not successful, I decided to try for Barnet as my wife had passed first time with Ali. Nearly a year after my first try I got through with a spot and Ali did us a favour by bringing me onto his service. I thought I did not need much as in my opinion I should have passed my first time but hey that’s life. My first session with Ali was so overwhelming! I learned so much! The preparation and tools that he had was truly impressive! While I had an idea of his reputation from my wife’s experience, I appreciated the teachings. And yes it can be frustrating especially when you are being corrected, there is no doubt there is a love to his tuition. The often dry sarcasm humour always makes me laugh and forms his unique persona that is always on your side ! Not only is he a true master of the road, he is a genuine person and this comes true with each lesson. Ali, you could be a Trini !

I was introduced to Ali by a friend, and it was one of the best recommendations I've ever received. Both my friend and I passed our driving tests first time thanks to All's excellent teaching. He uses a variety of teaching techniques that make every aspect of driving easy to understand, and he builds your confidence throughout the learning process. Ali is the best. I thought this test would be a lot easier coming from having a license in the US but the learning process really showed that I had lots of areas to improve on. He was very patient with me through my own frustrations and he really set me up for success - I passed it on the first try! Big milestone for me because 12 years ago I didn’t even pass my US driving test on the first try… Can’t recommend him enough!

Ali has been an excellent driving instructor! He really made sure I was as confident as possible before my test, with great resources for each manoeuvre. He made lessons a fun experience — I'd recommend him to anyone.
